Commission Sharing/Unbundling
MPIE were engaged by a broker to select and implement a global commission solution including defining business requirements, project management, system selection and application implementation. We have since completed a further CSA project for a different global broker.

Prime Brokerage
Assisted with business analysis for this global bank setting up a new prime brokerage operation.

MiFID Programme Management
Provided programme management for both business and IT for this well known securities firm. Our work also included policy development and direct contact with senior clients.

Credit Impairment
MPIE were engaged by a major bank to assist in analysis around a programme looking to improve its processes and systems around credit impairment.

Organisation Restructure
MPIE were engaged by a well known UK bank to review a major technology department and recommend changes to its management reporting lines, structure and communications

Fidessa Implementations
MPIE have been engaged by a number of firms to assist in implementing Fidessa. Our assistance included project management, business analysis and User Acceptance Testing.

FIX Architecture
Designed a FIX architecture for a niche investment bank and were then re-engaged a year later to advise on its expansion

Broker Review
MPIE has worked with a niche service vendor to design and implement a European asset manager's Broker Review process. This involved gathering business requirements from groups of fund managers and research analysts based in Paris and London.

Client Reporting
MPIE has worked extensively with a specialist software house to implement their Client Reporting service for buy side firms as well as developing and promoting their solution to new markets

Social Networking
When a PR company wanted to significantly expand the membership of and activity level on their LinkedIn social networking group, they engaged MPI. Working jointly with the management of the PR firm we agreed a target of doubling the membership and increasing discussions. We exceeded these targets using our tried and tested techniques - jointly called MPI Interactive

Our consultants have authored white papers for several major technology providers on the likely impacts of business developments such as MiFID, risk, regulation and trends in supply chain management from both business and technology standpoints. We have also been engaged to develop papers looking at functional areas such as the benefits of embedding key functions into the data layer of a compliance architecture
